Took the rear prop off. Which bloody stupid person put nuts on that only hercules could undo :mad:

Having taken off prop, bit of hassle to get beast into diff lock....got slack linkages ..... oooohh errrr matron :D
 
I'm sat indoors waiting for a courier to turn up with an axle... and waiting for more piccies to upload so I can get some more of my project thread done :lol:
 
Got a part worn (8mm tread) Bridgestone 205 r16 fitted for £20:D

I have 3 spare wheels, just found out that two are from a Defender and one from a series, picked the sereis wheel to have the tyre fitted to (just my luck), discovered it had an inner tube, insisted they fit the tubless tyre to it anyway and now Ive discovered the inner tube is leaking air:frusty:
 
drilled the rivets out of the old heater box and replaced the matrix and seals. Fixed the dodgy back light (holder is melting again :/) and topped up the oil
 
sorted out and installed my 13w solar charger in the landy shed to keep the landy battery topped up as its sorn'd for a couple of months .

took an old CH rad bracket and turned it into

A First aid mounting bracket on me bulkhead :D Both first aid kits now secured and easily accessible...

and out of pure coincidence. My Halfords multi pack of spade fuses. fits on top and wedges lovely under the lip of the bulkhead. :D Save all three of em rattling & bouncing around behind my seat.

Mine did that, the tube was rubbing on something on the inside of the tube and they have ribs inside as well and this causes the tube to rub through:)
