For the first time I can actually say I have done something to my Landy :D :D

And I dont mean a garage did, I actually did most of it myself. Well the too tight bolts did need assistance and I was following instructions, but still :D

She has had new oil, filters, grease and the power steering belt tightened.

So thanks to nrgserv I am feeling quite proud, will have to spend tomorrow soaking the oil off my hands though :D

Today i spent 3hrs replacing the wiper motor on my 2003 defender td5. The 2nd time in three years!

Has anyone else had their motor burn out so quickly on them?

Replaced my rear one a couple of times, but that's because water was getting in, sealed it up now so should be ok

Put the dog in the back and turned the key and .... nothing! Luckily I knew what it was ... the exciter wire on the starter had popped off so removed heatshield and air filter box to make access slightly easier but still a wrist dislocation to get it back on! Bloody wire!

Technically it was yesterday......fitted three quarters of my new suspension. slowed down by wrestling with the old stuff and having to think of ingenious ways to chop it out. New stuff looks good though. Will finish today and post how it improves the ride.

Got stuck in a field and had a 2a pull me out. Stuck on some bigger xzls with a deeper tread also picked up some series rear bumper protectors to make sure I don't reverse into another wall :D
