welded a hole in my rear cross member waxed oiled full chassis i think i got more on me ready for a nice drive to skipton landy spares tomoz
 
removed N/s front hub/swivel/drive shaft assembly from disco's front axle. gotta do same to O/S tomorrow. & cannabilise em to use on the 110's front axle. Anyone want solid discs and callipers for a 300tdi Disco??? :D

Fitted a Paddock Steel Steering guard!

Was easy enough till one of the bolts took a crobar and a load of wd40 to get out!

Happy though
 
Emptied the boot ... Full of spades, shovels, tools, wire and general ****e.

Getting it ready for next weekend when I'm away laning in Wales .. ;)
 
Got mine emptying it of logs which pop is now cutting down. Seriously gotta sort a track down into woods. 20 years of timber down there rotting
 
got overalls on, had brekkie, lots of tea, gotta get me arse into gear and to go out and change me fanny belts, as the alternator belt has been falling to bits fer months now, i even cut the flapping bits orf weeks ago...


now, need to goto the loo,
ok, undo all me overalls....

gettin old is a bar steward at times :)
 
Fitted sumo draglink bar and steering damper relocation kit from Gwyn Lewis. So much better than the Tarantula stuff it's replacing.
 
got some goodys from skipton landy spares just fitted dog guard in the 90 just new trailing arms to fit now

Changed the water pump but it just overheats even quicker! Have ordered a new radiator as the fluid doesn't seem to flow as quickly as it should. Hopefully that will sort the overheating issue because I'm all out of ideas!
 
Fist run of my rebuilt 200 - will it work? All those parts, all those bolts and bearings, all those seals.......surely not

But - started as soon as the air was out of the fuel line, no leaks yet, and even the replaced transfer box works!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Thanks to all the guys who helped answer questions - certainly made life a lot easier.
 
Drove it down to the chippie party venue yesterday, drove it round a bit, filled it up with half a dead Disco and drove it back again today :)
