Hoping Mirco the Mechanic will phone to say she's ready becuase I'm getting serious withdrawal symptoms and I'm fed up with riding around on a scooter

"Micro the mechanic" obviously he won't need a ramp.

I must wake up and clean my specs before I start reading this in the mornings.
:D

Drove her to work to make sure the new swivel pins and bearings were working as they should. No wandering, no shaking and no steering play ... all good (touch wood) :)

Built the winch motor back up and tested it .. ;)

Took off the end cap after the video ended and all looked good EXCEPT ...

One of the brush springs has snapped!

I suspect it caught on the motor casing and blew itself apart .. there's a lot of black markings around it. No sweat, need to put a piece of insulation behind it I think.

On the whole, pretty pleased with it so far! ;)

All they need now are some scratches and the odd dent ...

Done feck all to mine as just aint got the time but am paying a local independent landy garage to do all the work it currently requires

My mechanic made them! I want to see if they do their job :D
He's also convinced me to try a 2 1/2 inch lift and Old Man Emu ammos. Next month I may try getting them fitted and see how it feels off road. They're second hand but he says they're in good nick (they came off a Def he bought for himself but he's putting Nissan Patrol axles and other stuff on his).

Ive fitted a new chequer plate rear door cover with drop down shelf to hold all my BEER to have tonight on the Wayfarer .

Replaced the fan and alternator belts :) no more loss of power steering and battery charge when I fly through a big puddle :D

Fook all Cos it's still in the garage.. But got up at 07:00 this morning and stripped the skins off the pair of front doors, I bought from Newbury autojumble.

Passengers door came off, easy peasy. Drivers door was stuck like Sh*t to a blanket and is now mullered. Need a length of frame section from YRM, and if anyone has got a knackered door lying around, the Drivers Armrest. :D Where the glass comes thru.

This bit.
