Hub nut spanner came today so I went up to see the 110 and placed it lovingly on the passenger seat, I'll be back when the weather gets a little bit warmer I whispered to her.......

Opened the bonnet and had a luke at thinjin, ooohhhh I thought, cant wait ta get back on the road wi it.

Then I went home for a warm:D
 
Got a new Alternator, which will be fitted tomorrow.

Got a new 'plip' thing, so changed that over and it now works off the remote from quite far away, which is a change .. ;)
 
put the fookin MT's back on AGAIN! :frusty: :frusty:
fook it they can stay on for crimbo as i'll be doin a bit of off-roading
painted the plywood panels on the hard top with some wood stain was starting to get a bit of meldew on um
 
Replaced fooked alternator with a nice shiny new one ... ;)

Now getting 14.6 volts at the battery on tickover, old one was giving 13.8, but rattling like a bag of broken spanners.
 
replaced the fan belt so it don't sound like i'm murderizatin a pig every time i turn a corner! Much better now.

PS what fookin nob decided it would be a good idea to put the torque bar hole for tightening the fooker right in the line of the belt??? ffs!

Went mad with gunk,degreased the top half of the engine, started underneath..what a Bloody mess.

been through there about half a dozen times in the last 5-6 weekls no probs :confused2:

robin nearly joined me a couple of times when his winch kept pulling him in instead of me out .
he ended up having to tie his to a passing frontera :( :censored: :puke:

could have done it with another chain in the line but well its good for a land anchor if **** all else hehe
they did'nt want to have a go when i'd got out the way went around it
