Losing coolant on a long run which is confusing the heck outta me considering all the recent work that's been done, so just had a block test & pressure test done, now't wrong with the new HG or block! Once the Mrs has finished work I'm going to by-pass the heater matrix as foot well is a bit damp and ordered a new expansion tank cap too. just to rule those two out as causes.
 
What engine? Ditto, thermostat I think

If so it's a 300TDi, had new stat, water pump & rad fitted when HG was done, but I'd imagine it could be a duff stat. No overheating issues though, all pipes getting hot and coolant is circulating.

A 5 quid socket set that will last a gearbox change is ideal.Me decent tools are in the shed if the cheapies arnt up to it yer silly old goat gaylord :D
 
and todays effort.... Just need to take off front prop,unbolt the bellhousing and take orf the gearbox mounts...then ready to lift out :eek::eek::eek::eek:

Yeah. Same issue for me but 200tdi. Know mines duff
 
cleaned n painted me noo propper sized wheel ready for a tire to be fitted

fitted me number plates and a set of stainless rear grab handles

and prepped a heater unit from a deffender for a retro-fit
