The fooking Hooge 720cca, 110ah Fulmar leisure battery outta the pikey wagon (so wide I had to take the rad bracket off to get the battery to fit. Was dead as a fooking dodo.

Had a little play with pump settings, and purchased some wire rope and fittings to make my bush cables. Going to make quick release so I can detach from eyelet on front wing and run them down the side of roof rack when not in use !!!.....

My 664 1000cca 100ah battery was dead as a dodo after the urn was on for 5 days. I stuck the emergency optima yellow top that I replaced that varta with, into the battery box in exchange for the dlat un and it fired straight up.

Put me front wheel back on and had a little drive, and all sounds well. Well, nothing sounds broken any more, at least .. ;)

Now to look at a drooping rear door, a dodgy trailer connection, and get some flashing tape to replace the poxy sponge/soundproofing under the carpets ... might even take the carpets out completely, dunno yet!

Gave the front end of the stripped S3 chassis 2 coats of red oxide yesterday, went out this morning in glorious sunshine and gave the front end its first coat of tractol massey ferguson red gloss then it started to rain...just as I finished. I reckon it wont harm the paint as it was 50-50 paint/thinners and was drying pretty quick. May need a sand down before its next coat though.

Fixed the drooping tailgate, fixed the ballasts door lock, fixed the rear childlock, replaced a broken indicator connector, but it was all loads of faff .. so leaving the interior to tomorrow ...

I bloody hate Disco door cards, 'specially when the moulded in bits break off and superglue doesn't work ...

Also not right happy with Disco sound system .. rear speakers aren't working, can't figure out why, it all seems to be connected ...

fitted me noo/old lightbar. went to B&Q for 4 SS nuts & set screws. no SS about £5 for zinc plated :( So went to screfix and paid £13 for 50 A2 S/S buttonhead screws and 100 A2 S/S nyloc nuts.

Got the wrong fooking size  got M8's instead of M6
