Just made my first attempt at mig welding on the old girl. I did the bottom edge of the bulkhead, where it becomes part of the floor pan on the drivers side. It isn't pretty and I'm sure a welder would condemn it as complete crap. But, hey, It's my crap!! and I'm really pleased with the result. A bit more practice in bits that aren't critical or visible and I'll be ready to tackle anything. I've slapped loads of red oxide over it and sat back with a beer to admire my handiwork

My Mrs reckons I've got a grin like a cheshire cat :D

put my road tyres back on after a weekend of breaking it..

tore a 2nd stud out of spare wheel carrier, so put the replacement one on that i bought when the first stud pulled out a couple of weeks ago..

and found the front o/s wheel bearing is fubar.. something to keep me busy at the weekend...

just realised i might have a new bearing set already.. bought some when i noticed play in rear wheels but managed to just nip em up as found the tab washers had not been bent over nuts and they had come loose...

on my d2 i changed viscousfan and noticed that my ac compressor is missing one m6 bolt on center of the pulley :jaw: it had wery rusty tread so i dont know ho long it was missing....

Techno Shtuff it's eather to small or to big. ( that's what she said when she left me. ) lol

use photobucket to host your picys the full size will come out big enough (take a look at my picys on this thread ^^^^^^^)
oh and clean that front "garden" up its a fookin mess!:D

Give it a go.

Front garden? I sit out there because I can't stand the mess in the house.

Beside I just finished rebuilding the side of the house and the 2 chimneys as the back one fell down in the bad winds last year. That's why it's a little untidy. lol

Frick, I was thinking your front garden was iffy reading buckshot's post, but if your house is the same you need to get your lazy arse into to gear an sort it! What if one of us decide to pop up to Lancashire and need a cuppa???

**** sake picky picky picky. Milk sour anyway. tried to give it my dead cat but It won't stand up anymore.
Anyone can to come for a cuppa as long as do cleaning for a job.
Me Never here. So Me doont give a fook.

Ive just finished lifting the Landy. Now I'm gonna start on removing the roof and sides so I can fit the roll hoop and go topless all summer! I'm hoping to fit the roll hoop in the right place so I can anchor my seatbelts for now and then fit a truck cab when I buy one and still have the roll hoop...
