fair enough :p I've been trying to keep on top of the jobs on mine

got a couple of patches to weld on the chassis and fit a series door to go on the drivers side (to replace the fender 1 that the thieving pikey coonts bent so far out of true it wont shut :mad:)
would have liked to get the front hoop on the roll cage before salisbury trip but just not going to happen :(

Nothing, as the new turret rings, coil spring compressors, hd steering rods and ball joints or the g/box mounts didn't bloody turn up!

why are you buying coil spring compressors?
not needed for any job on a landy and dangerous in use.


Trewey's right about not needing spring compressors to change landy springs. They can be dangerous but dangerous or not, they are a necessary tool when changing the front springs on most cars.

To compress my...coil springs....I'll take my chances as to how dangerous... I've only been a mechanic for the past 14 years on everything from tanks to recovery trucks still got all 6 fingers on each hand

Got lumbered with me mates dog so im not doing anything on mine today. might try and get an hour on it later when the missus gets home.
 
Ordered new drivers side door HK bass speaker from t'ebay yesterday (furness car campany)for my new acquired RR - arrived this morning! So taking drivers door panel off to fit this aft.
 
Gave it a 25 mile run to my old dears, only time I dropped gears was when I got to the town, apart from that, 5th all the way even up the hills happy with that. it's last run, off the road until September now unless I flog it.
 
Just tie it to the towbar :doh: thats what dad used to do with ours :p keeps it in sight and its outside so it'll be happy ;)

I have a lifted 90 and its a Chihuahua! It wont reach even that!

And i know i know its a girl dog but im only dog sitting! :doh:
 
Emptied some more burnables out the back of mine....(no I didn't have a gaylander in the back).... I can actually see the floor of it again now.:eek:

I also sorted some more landy stuff out in my shed.:)
