Started project forward facing seats.

As you will see in picture...i hope, they wont fit to edge of tub. B n q i found 3mm by 30mm millrd steel lengths. Currently cutting and bending under heat to create a strong l shaped bracket which will fit to top of inner edge of tub and flat to wheel arch and bolted in. Seat bolts to that and wheel arch.

There is about 4inches of the seat overlapping the wheel arch but ok for occasional use. 3point seat belts too.

finished fitting me inverter - wife then asked what does it do, is it a button for turning the car upside down?

Finally finished fitting the rear crossmember. Only the C post to do now and the welder can go away for a few months.

Fitted an air filter, temporary straps for now. A mate is going to fab me a custom stainless bracket...

And took off the cable tie holding up the fuel filter and bodged up a bracket, not too good but again a stainless one is on the way.

I'm particularly pleased with the colour coded stripe on the air pipe and the fact it's no longer inhaling all kind o' ****e.

Used it to fetch 5 trailer loads of corded timber thinnings, ready to cut up and split into logs.

replaced the wheelbearing that left me stranded at the side of the a518 yesterday. i had to replace the stub axle too.

then topped up the paint on my hubs, and started prep for painting the front end of it ready for the indoor 4x4 show.

Filled it with junk for the tip run tomorrow, fixed the ****ty earth for the fan, adjusted the timing a smidge, found more crap to put in the back....

made a new heavy duty bumper
