Fitted a new aerial - now have lots of stations to choose from.

Lagged the water tank pipes as there was ice in the tank yesterday.

About two months ago I changed the thermostat in my Defender. £3.33 inclusive of VAT.
Had to get one for wife's Toyota Yaris this afternoon. €58. Nearly fell through the floor.
I can't see much difference between the two other than the price. The Toyota one is a genuine Toyota part. Think I will have to buy the wife a 90.

found out what the metallic scraping noise was when i braked... after a bit of a bang on the road home.

Turns out. the bottom brake calliper bolt had somehow come out... then everytime i braked the caliper twisted and scraped on the inside of the alloy. very glad stopped driving it immediatly and found the issue. all fixed now though at the great expence of £1.40 and a trip to the stealers. luckily the damage to the alloy was only a surface scratch and no severe scrapes.

Stripped the hand brake drum and re-assembled after problems with it seizing after off roading. All good now ... new headlight rims tomorrow :)

Thought about it, and then decided not to because it's too bloody cold outside!!

So I had a play with someone elses instead! :D:D

I need to do this, efficiency at MOT was 15%, and now after some off roading I have a sneaking suspicion that it's closer to zero :eek:

Mine was the opposite as it wouldn't release ;) Simple enough job but as mine was seizing I had a job getting the drum off. Sounds like yours may come off easier :)

Fitted new front disc's and pads. Went to do back disc's only to find two of the drive shaft flange bolts have sheared so either got to drill them out or find a replacement hub at my local breakers. Pain in the arse as I wanted it all done by Christmas.

yesterday finished stripping old bulkhead, started to test fit doors and wings etc and adjusted bulkhead to make sure doors and wings were lined up right.

HI Discomiky, Just as a matter of interest how long does it take to remove a bulkhead?
Mine is fine but I have heard that this is a weakness on them. I still have to fit my footwells which I have put off due to the cold weather.
