I wuz only watching it me old mate, just saw an opportunity to wind you up a little thats all, might take the bumper off your hands though if it's sensible money ;)

will see what sort of condition its in looks reasonable from the crap photo's .
you can have first dibs anyway (did think about drawing some funds from the business and put it on the 110 ) but works been thin and just spent out on a full service and i bought a disklok last night for it (its like thief city around here lately and paranoid the double cabs prime target )

Thanks bud, gimme a shout as and when and I'll pop over and take a look.
Why not go for aftermarket steering wheel and boss thats quick release detachable instead, I'm toying of going down that route myself on the 90 ;)

Oh ****, I hadn't heard about that, couldn't have been a local - a local would have been more than aware of your impressive armoury :D

Checked oil & water ... None needed!!

Fitted a switch for rear work light ... Still need to wire it all up! One day, maybe!!

Had to call out the AA this morning 'cos it wouldn't start - battery flat - it was only 12 years old and hadn't shown any hint of being 'dodgy' It obviously didn't like the frosty nights I left it shivering in. New one on its way tomorrow.

Took a gas axe to it -- and changed both nearside wheel bearings with mucho help from freediscoranger, discomikey and Dave "The Hammer".

checked my CB mikes - all work fine - bugger - that the fact that it is a bugger to switch to transmit must be in the radio :(.

Tightened the fan belt, changed the oil and cleaned the air filter and liberally sprayed a few cables etc with WD40.
Also got the CD player fitted and working.I likes sounds when I,m under the old girl :D

greased all shafts, changed new peak life 5w-50 in and filter off course. painted new hella 300 lights with matching color to my disco 1.

Took mine for a spin up the mountain in the snow. Since I have changed the front axle I seem to have lost my problem of the diff lock sticking when I disengage the diff locks. One less job I thought I had to do. I'm also pleased with the Electric Kenlow fan. The heaters warm up much quicker and I can actually feel heat coming through. I will have to wait till summer to see if the fan works though.

Done a bit of welding on the rear chassis, boxed in the outer bit to stop muck gathering. Soon be done with the welding and start on the mechanics.

what a bloody weekend!

nice easy change of front wheel bearing started saturday bout 11am..

removed caliper and brake pipe snapped just below the flexi pipe.. get on net find nearest place to get a flaring tool and some more pipe.. an hour to go collect.. made new pipe then thought i might as well fit extended brake line while i'm there.. tested the union at the top of the flexi with a tiny tweak of the spanner and decided to leave it alone..

put everythin back together and couldn't undo the bleed nipple!

bled the caliper backward through the union by spreading the pistons..

took it for a test drive, brake fluid sprayin across the road.. knew i shouldn't have touched that union at the top of the flexi..

too late to do owt as had to go to work..

got up sunday morning, made new pipe that was about 5 foot long.. fitted it, got r lass to pump the pedal to bleed and had to listen to her moaing for the 45 minutes it took to bleed the dam thing..

went to tong to see the lads, custom's there dippin tanks for red, nice bit of overtime just before xmas..

went home, loaded all mi gear went to work..

nice relaxing weekend.. not!

Cheers for the bacon butty rob..

Knocked a few dings out of the truck cab top and gave it a bloody good clean.
Looked at the paint work on it and the way its flaking I,m not sure wether to strip it all off or just slap some NATO green over the lot:D
