discovered the mice have been at the Disco

jebus they had a good dance at that disco :D

got a week off to work on the landy only its filling up fast ! and i cant find the key for my grinder to change disk ARRRGGHH off to look at a house on thursday to buy and spent this morning arranging mortgage AIPs and if its as good as it looks (perfect location) then no V8 engine for me for a couple of months :(

been out since 10.30
repaired the rear tub behind the seat box changed out the seat box end repaired the door frame bottom - was a bit rotten im getting good at this splicing in new metal how ever im going to invest in a plasma cutter when i get to my new gaff !

im about to start on the footwell and outrigger after lunch if i ever find this key ! (moved house twice and lived in holland for 6 months since i last had it )

Found the key :)

Today i have welded up the rear x member , welded on a new exhaust bracket , welded up a hole on the side of the chassis leg just before x member ,reassembled the handbrake after fixing it and painting the drum and fitted the rear prop again

Learnt that the hand brake adjuster bolt isnt made of 25% chrome steel ( like the stuff at work) and will actually take some punishment when its stuck solid !

Might get that outrigger and foot well done tomorrow/ friday morning and that leaves the polybushes for the weekend

Mot on monday or tuesday - hopefully it wont fail on account of the engine being a working model of the exxon valdez. !

Fitted intercooler pipes and air filter...

then decided to sort some tools out and get things in some sort of order.

Gettin there:)

Remounted main light switch on the 110 "Green Meanie". Mounting nut had unthreaded, so turning the lights on and off was like stirring jam with a chopstick. A good job I looked rather than just order a new switch.. Saved £25. What to spend it on.. New seal for fuel sender, bugger's leaking. Set up alarm and central locking on kitchen table, checked it works, made sure I knew how to wire it up. Fed snake.

I went out to a 90 with exactly the same fault a few weeks back. The customer was well chuffed that they could carry on their journey.
