drove mine off the driveway and parked it on the road (legally now )....total trip of about 20 meters without a breakdown :D

When you say 'drove,' do ya mean under it's own steam or do ya mean steering it behind a towing vehicle?:confused::D
 
gave my mates a 2 inch lift , on procomp shocks , fitted the 265 75 16 insa turbo special tracks , 2 sets of diff gaurds , (one to mine one to his) and 2 wader kits , and fix some bulbs etc
 
did a bit of a service saturday..

oil and filters.... is there any way of gettin the oil filter off without coverin everythin, including me, with used oil?

need to do axles and gearbox oils next...
 
Plated the hole in the chassis and welded the nearside bulkhead outrigger. One more outrigger to do then polish and paint the chassis.
 
D1 V8
New engine in and mated to auto box, replaced sump and fitted rest of loose bits and now just waiting for the rad thats been recored, going to collect that tomorrow and get the old 8 rumbling by next weekend hopefully.

D2 Td5
Dropped the roof lining to find 2 of the 4 drain outlets broken so I have Araldited them back in and waiting for that to set.
Whilst the lining was down I fitted a Sirio "bee sting" CB antenna using the spare hole in the rear of the roof and it looks quite good without being an obvious CB antenna.
Once the Araldite has set I'm going to park facing down hill, re-fit the tubes and see where the rear leak is coming from (both rear tubed intact).

Another quiet weekend!
 
took the series out for a 25 miles test run,put 20l if petrol in the tank then filled up 2 20l jerry cans for next saturday !
