managed to sort the wiper problems (cheers ratty ) bad connection in the block connector .
then had the ball breaking job of putting the dash all back together (why to they make it so ****ing hard work
snapped a rear shock ,
dislocated the spring
snapped the key
ahhhhh !

fitted me noo seatcovers.. & the main body of me safari clone Snorkel. Just got the airboix bit to do now. I tell ya it int no fun fitting one in the dark with just a 12v LED handlamp for light.
Ok...quick look this am, and yes, I have shims (2) on the top. Guess I'll order the four shown on the parts list....Failed MOT - again! Took it in back in June - failed on wheel bearing, drop arm and brake lights. Fixed them...but outwith 10 day re-test period. Was pretty busy over the rest of the "summer" so only now had time to try again. The new wheel bearing has shown up the play in the upper swivel pin! Also 2 small sections needing welding - that'll teach me not to power-wash the underside! lol
Anyway...given that it is a 1984 110 does anybody know if it is a single gasket that I need for the swivel pins...or a series of shims?
