just got back from having the insa turbo sahara's 235/70 fitted... look great feel a bit wierd on the tarmac, don't sound as loud as I expected but it is a nice noise....

bloody things rub on full lock... anyone know where the post is about adjusting steering lock save me looking?

Thanks :) I think it looks alright for a home made jobbie. All in all quite cheap - the plastic pipe and the metal we had hanging around (as you do). The bracketry of course we welded up ourself. Snorkel top = £10. The bendy bit at the bottom was £8.


Yeah, the original hole in the wing did the job nicely :)

Was half tempted to save £10 and find a plant pot like on my previous version:

Bloody hell! Homemade! You should start selling them on ebay or something! I have no need for one yet but i may have to have more details on where you got the stuff from a bit later on :p
 
i've done fook all to mine:mad: coz it pi#sed down all morning an as soon as i set off for work the bastid sun came out FFS:mad:

so hopefully full service 2moro well change all the oils an filters anyway:rolleyes:

Fitted my new supergas steering damper and temp sensor and started cleaning up the engine bay a bit
 
Redex in the fuel tank..nice..
bought a book about diesel engines,
And got a number plate made up for me trailer, collecting sunday and straight to work, with it.
And just sat on my doorstep looking at my disco...:eek:
