Pulled the footwell soundproofing up to find it soaking wet and with a layer of mud under. Whoops... Sourcing a suitible closed cell replacement, till then just got the carpets down. Not as noisy as I thought, even with the wellies on it.

Started stripping it down this evening in preparation for taking the engine out to do clutch 
Thought I would get a head start on the weekend as I need it back on the road for work on Monday
Check out me ghetto garage;
Managed to get front end stripped down, most pipes etc disconnected with the exception of fuel lines.

finally fixed me leaking vacum pump after riding around for 2 weeks with a plastic bag cable tied round it to catch the oil,,,

Never thought of that..... Until I can clean the gasket on mine

discovered that my oil leak is significantly worse than i first thought, it now drips once every 6 seconds on idle, and used form 'H' on the dip stick to under 'L' withing 200 miles of driving! the 200 tdi sat on my drive is having the cam belt, filters, belts and oil changed this week for a premature swap next weekend....

Stopped to help an old guy who fell off his bike, managed to get him and his bike in with help from a gaylander driver :O and promptly took him back to his home
