Fixed my grease gun yesterday so decided to lube my very squeaky uj's.
Todays task will be to take the front prop off and try to find some replacement uj's as i clearly left them dry for too long.
More money.

Finished zip-tying trailer electrics up out of the way after swapping the drop tow hitch I can't legally use for a tow jaw.

Discovered one of the (many) previous owners is a moron and f*sking hard wired in some pioneer audio plug for the radio. Can't get the pin layout to wire up the damn thing so it keeps it's memory and dunno how i'm ever going to replace it with something without a tape deck...

fitted a new back door seal, a reversing camera kit so i can see when i hit next doors car, gunked the engine and fitted a new gasket to the fuel regulator to hopefully cure a slight leak

Spent ten minutes messing about trying to find out why me motor wouldn't pull off only to find I'd left the hi/lo in nuetral.......:doh::doh:

Took the front prop off to inspect the squeaky uj. As suspected its buggered and has knackered the bolts attaching it to the transfer box aswell.
Fun little job replacing it tomorrow me thinks.

:D join the club :)

Done that trick when i put a Disco Transfer Box on a 90... Scared me abit!

I went to a local steam show today.. And there was a autojumble :)

Genuine Release Bearing... £2 (£30 from LRSeries :))

I replaced my battered side steps for genuine LR 'tombraider' side runners :) I got them 'take offs' off a test Land Rover Defender 110 and they weigh over 12kg each:eek:... very solid!
