finally got round to getting a new mount for my cb aerial!! snapped ANOTHER gutter mount so now its fitted to the front bumper. only thing i gotta do tomorrow is get the coax cable screwed on to the bottom of the mount, not as easy as it sounds tho!! only a tiny hole to get my fingers in and screw the cable connector on, and it hurts!!

considdering it was a simple job its cost me a dremel (motor burnt out) and a work lamp (dropped and smashed the flourescent tube) so im not fkin happy!!

Photo's will follow as and when I get it.

If I'm still here like.

checked all the levels, defrosted it, in the process of checking the coolant level snapped the sensor wire off, soldiered/bodged that back on, waved goodbye as the new driver drove it away in the snow.Sniff, i'll miss you grover, sob!
First time in over a decade ive been without a landy to hand

Just spent 2hrs in the rain and snow with bro in law checking with to see why she's suddenly started to judder under braking, checked caliper's, pistons, pads, re-bled brakes ... checked suspension/steering, all fine but still no change:( then realised brake disc's:doh:, turn's out O/S disc is warped.

Been out in the ice and what was snow, sorted out leaking ateering box. Sorted out non working washer jets, refitted rear bumper after plating rear crossmember. Replaced a couple of tail light bulbs.

I started my newly baught SIIa restoration project for the first time after cleaning the points, she runs nice for a 46 year old landy. couldnt drive it as clutch and brakes dont work shame.

Been out, swapped the AFM, pulled a plug and checked for over fuel, charged the battery tried and still wont start:( then put the old AFM back on

Just added 5 litres of antifreeze. Last night was a bad time to find out the engineering company that ****ed with my landy didn't bother putting much, if any, in.:mad::mad:

i cant make uo my mind whether he is bowing in humility at the final resting place of dear ol' Rattus norvegicus or whether he is praying for a repeat performance?

Haven't done owt tae mine fur a wee while, but looks like ah'll be doin' summit the night.
Ah was driving into town this mornin' and me clutch pedal decided to give up the ghost. Only had a tiny bit of bite right near the floor but managed tae get to town and back and pull a couple of cars up the road.... just need tae wait fur the mrs tae phone fur a tow and then ah'll change me slave cylinder and pipe;)

Replaced the main earth strap on my 90 and earthed the engine to the chassis and the body to the gearbox. Now my headlights actually light up properly rather than earthing through the handbrake - result! :D

Today i stripped down the exhaust and rebuilt it as it was blowing and noticed that the nice man whom had tracked the steering lied as its completly fecked the front tyre, i say tyre as the other week i sent it in to have my new wheels fitted and he burst one on some pliers....so he replaced one, on the front!!!!!!
Enter an interesting trip up the motorway and one tyre inspection (he didn't tell me otherwise i'd have paid for the other one) later i find the aformentioned dodgy tyre set up.........
I have to now go and remonstrate with said man....Mery Christmas to you all over here as well
