got the road tax this after on the old 90 whahoo!
have forgot how "agricultural" it is compaired to the new td5 :D
 
drove the series to work...felt a bit sluggish..checked the oil cap at work to find a load of mayonnaise in it....fookin marvelous head gasket has gone :(

Look on the bright side - It is a peice of **** to do! :)

Disconnect Air Hose
Rocker Cover off
Rocker Shaft out (Two bolts at either end holding it on and lift)
Take hoses and Oil feed off (Oil feed round the back of the engine)
Spark Plugs out
Undo head bolts
Lift head off

Simples... :)

Whilst you are at it, get a head gasket set from Paddocks, it has all the seals and gaskets for a top end rebuild (Both me and 90 TC have used em and they are quite good quality)

went on a spending bender today :
Bought me some new waffle boards, some transport brackets, new wading pipes, and some new seat covers.

Still needs me to sort the front wings for the MOT in Jan, but screw it ATM this weather is too good to miss out on :D
 
fitted a new door lock to the passenger side, so I can be all gentlemanly and open the door for Mrs Prime, instead of jumping straight in and reaching over.
 
Drove mine,, ooooohhhhh :D:D:D:D:D:D luverrrly V8 supin petrol (an gas) like its goin out of fashion.:eek:
