Got the 'Aural Warning' the other day that one of me front pads was knacked.
Changed them and stone me....two days later get another aural warning from the feckin back!
Anyway..did them anorl. Moral is to keep pads in stock so as not to pay ya local factor prices.

Got me prop off.Invented new swear words in the process.Broke 4(!!!)Circlip plier noses(4!!!), decide mine were held on by the force.Am obtaining necular weapon to get em off.

Ive looked in me engine bay and scratched me heed.Ive looked in the disco bay and scratched some more.Fookin ell the tdi conversion will take a few days when i get home.I was hopeing to do a straight swap.HO HUM

Finally managed to de-cat the disco after snapping 2 bolts on the chassie cross member last weekend removed 3 more yesterday after soaking them in wd40 all week then had to get the torch on the last 3 this morning.

I road tested my baby after finishing the engine swap (2.5TD to 200tdi).
The phrase 'holly crap, this thing shifts!!' came to mind.

Then I changed the oil in the gearbox, transfer box and axles.

Nae wurries mate

If ye're still having props removing the circlips... try using a smaller diameter socket and tw@ the top of the cups to give a wee bit more clearance

Got a wee bit done tae the bus today

Finished off removing the N/S wing, then the O/S wing, then removed throttle pedal, removed heater box, then brake pedal box and then took the collapsible steering column off....

Then took off the O/S wing..

Then ah took me throttle pedal off...

Been using the remains of the circlip pliers and a hammer and some colourful language.Seems tp work but them circlips wont be used again!

well it was'nt today but over the last couple of weekends but modified a 90 style roof rack to fit my disco. also painted it and wired in, fitted spot lights, hazard flashing light and rear work light. oh and mounted my high lift jack as well.

.... then ah removed me doors...

Then a took the door light switches out..

And took the roof, sides and windscreen off together....

Would've got more done but it started pishin' down and ah got fed up takin' off and puttin' on the tarp!

cleaned up and repainted the OS Rock/Tree slider and added a bit of bling. Tread Grip on top for when it get muddy (one day) and reflective side strips coz - well - why not

Chassis too far under the motor - and the sills are box section - not sure on the deepender.
