believe he's got a mooring at Hartlepool.
lives somewhere between leeds and Donny.
cracking bloke, I rewound a starter solenoid in the galley of his, erm, "vessel", when it was moored at Selby.
first introduction to him, 3 miles of varnished copper wire to wind back on the coil.
lasted 3 years that starter!

:hysterically_laughi Wondered why you was talking to one of them from the dark side :eek:

well thanks to the Newbury sortout
and a spot of ebaying

over the last few evenings.
+2 blocks and +2 terraferma springs fitted.
cranked bearmach trailing arms fitted.
-2 shock lowering plates fitted.
converted the hateful shyte rubber feking rear shaft
to a 200tdi unit.
designed and made a small instrument pod to mount
the control head of my HF radio and sat nav unit.
fitted roof light bar.

much left to do but its getting there.

New brake light fitted on the 90 as the old one kept spitting the bulb out, new water pump and front brake pads on the disco

Maybe tomorrow investigate what I thought was a clutch noise and is now sounding more like a gearbox noise:eek::eek::(

Looked at replacing the weeping auto box oil cooler pipes on the missus' 300tdi, made some excuses & decided to put it off for a week or two so we can de-cat the pipe & replace the auto gearbox filter at the same time, also i have a cold, and a cough, and it was raining a bit and i wanted to go for a drive. But did take 10 minutes to do the penny (well 5 cents in this case) fix on the belt tensioner, cos despite a new new belt & a new tensioner it were still horribly noisy & bugger me the belts now completely silent.... brilliant.... so took the 200tdi out for a drive and did this (see photo) ... which was a massive pain in the arse to get out of.
