replaced my starter motor, pig of job but all done now.

Turbo is now making a strange noise, sounds more like a squeal rather then a whistle, thought i found the problem with a leaky hose but it still seems to be making the noise. Any ideas? its been one thing after another this month. tis deciding to fall apart :(

Wait! never fear! i was a bit peed off so went and had another look before the light ran out. Turns out a hose clamp was damaged and had got stuck so felt like it was tight but actually wast, had a spare so changed it over and turbo is nice a quiet and hissing healthy :) Happy man now :amen: :nospamhere::bounce:

sorted out the slave cylinder, it would appear that the R380 slave cylinder thread is the same as the LT77 master thread and the same again as the series 3 slave thread!

But the LT77 slave thread doesn't fit either…………but its sorted now

today I've fitted new rear discs, pads and re greased rear wheel bearings. cleaned up my callipers and fitted a new rocker cover gasket. not bad in 2 hours if I do say so myself.

Tightened the drive belt for the power steering to stop it squeaking, greased all my UJ's and checked her oil, water, brake fluid and PS fluid, then gave her a short run out!

Tomorrow we take our RIB and Training Yacht from Blyth to Royal Quays Marina on the River Tyne, ready to host the Blue Peter film crew on Saturday for the Foghorn Requiem, which will be performed off Souter Point, South Shields at 12:30

Packed it full of stuff in preparation for driving down to Bristol tomorrow and found the thing that holds the bottle jack in pace in the engine bay, not very exciting but I always wondered how it was supposed to sit in there without causing damage.
