As we were away last weekend camping. The back seats were out. So today I've put the back seats back in so I have a four seater 110 SW again...

Got round to fitting a proper fuse box fer all the aux stuff and got rid of half a dozen in-line fuses spread around the inside of me Landy......susprisingly everything still works

Swapped over inlet manifold hot spot, plumbed in 90% of radiator pipes, repaired the vacuum pipes, renewed pump gasket and only missing one bolt now :) timed engine properly, removed a good bit of skin on my hand during the process also decided that I don't want to cut up the slam panel to make the rad fit so gonna make a slightly deeper custom slam panel, this will also allow me to use the viscous fan too

stripped rear axle complete of my 90 and fitted a disco 1 axle with disc's painted it black fitted rear 2" blocks ..brakes are much better

ground out all the rust bubbles in the boot of the disco put in a wee bit of fiber glass and two coats of waxoil under the sound deadening they really are moisture traps!!!!!

Had a drive around Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. Saw Silbury Hill, which English Heritage says you're not allowed to climb up any more

West Kennett Long Barrow, which is about 5600 years old

A beautiful view from Birdlip across the Severn Valley. Cheltenham and Gloucester are in there somewhere. It is said that this view of Gloucestershire inspired C.L. Dodgson to write about the countryside being laid out like a chessboard in 'Alice Through the looking Glass'

Then we went to Bourton on the Water but it was heaving with so many tourist bodies you could hardly see it so we left and came home.

The Land Rover's positively flying along at the moment and hasn't seriously broken down since January. Something must go wrong soon, surely?

Drained swivel joints of tar like substance....yet when drained transfer box oil looked good, put it down to arse garage used by previous owner who doesnt understand "full fluid changes"
waxoyled chasisis and also changed axle fluids.....looking good almost ready for painting :)
May the sunshine continue tomorrow!! :)

Since Friday have driven 640miles an have put into the tank

60 ltrs of Veg Oil @ £1per ltr

Fitted my new centre seat with a three point belt, finished converting the fusebox to blades and changed my battery over for one that could start a dead planet.
