Cheated on it.

Drove over to a garage where they're selling a GS FL2. I really like the car, now to shop - think it's curtains for the FL1
 
Warning on the dash for low pressure on one tyre. Nowt in the diagnostics. Checked all tyres and one was on 28psi. I kerbed it t'other day when avoiding a road hogger on a corner on a narrow road. Checked the dash and fault still there. Drove to work and noticed the warning had gone. It must want yer to drive it to check the flat bit is round again.
 
No my TD4 Sport Auto isn't!!!
Doh, didn't see the AUTO bit, what a plank 😂 😂.
Mine has the synergy ll box with eco button & I think the best I've has is 37 mpg. I'm driving it to Hereford sometime after Aug 1st (170 miles), very gingerly, as it's the first run it's had in 2 yrs, I'll see what mpg I get.
 
The F1 passed its WOF (MOT) again on Friday.

I got an advisory that the LH drop link is toast. I've known this for ages, but I've now got to fix it. Its not done bad as the motor is 25 years old now.

Am I likely to damage a drop link removing it? Wondering whether to take it off the parts car or get a new one. From what I hear about new drop links, and original that's still in tact after 23 years might be just as reliable.

For the price of them, I’d be tempted to just buy (a quality) new
 
Get a pair of Meyle heavy duty ones. Most others last as long as it takes to fit. Change in pairs as sometimes different length to original. Doesn't make too much difference if it is 20mm or so but both same is good else it's round in circles for you !!


Could be the most you've ever spent on it 🤔

If you can get it off the old one without breaking anything then go for it.

Is TPMS driven oft the ABS on thems FL2s?
 
Nah. There's a sensor in each tyre. That's all.
In each rim as part of the tyre valve, not special tyres with sensors in 🫣 and a sensor in each wheel arch.

Yes as far as I know the tpms needs a cycle run before it “says” anything.
Ours drives up the road for about 10mins before it comes up and says something is wrong. It’s cos the wheels are in the garage at ome:p.
