Always good to hear of an MOT pass!, fitted my new (new to me anyway lol) roof rails today-well pleased and it's given the car a nice style boost. :)

I replaced the brake light switch with modified one because I was getting HDC and TC lihts coming on when I brake and then going out next time I braked.
An easy job and only took a few minutes. I haven't driven it again yet but hopefully no lihts next time I go out.
Incidentally, what is the other switch mounted next to the brake light switch?

On the accelerator? throttle position switch :) wot I was looking for once - but didn't have :D

It was just below the brake light switch and as far as I could tell was operated by the brake pedal. In fact, I could hear it click when I pressed the brake pedal. Does the the high level brake light have a separate switch? I have seen posts about 3 amigos where people have said their brake lights aren't working, but the high level light is.

Don't know then, sorry.

Ah..brake pedal position switch for cruise control - so haynes says anyway ;)

Oil and air service on my 'new' TD4 - was clearly overdue. Oil was black black black and air filter filthy...Cleaned out the intake too - couldn't believe the oily mess in there! Thanks for the headsup on that. Also did the cheap EGR trick with a 22mm copper stopper bought off eBay - easy as. Thanks for that tip too. Great forum this!

:behindsofa:
Replaced rear VCU support bearing housing (Rubber had split)-genuine LR part which was fitted less than a year ago -the front one was fine.
Although it was o.k., decided to replace the rear diff. front mount at the same time, as a precaution, with one that I had fitted a Polybush to previously. The diff does not feel as "Wobbly" as with the genuine LR mounts, also replaced over a year ago.
I feel the quality of genuine parts is now becoming a farce. If you complain, they say "It was not fitted by a LR Main Stealer !!"

Replaced the battery in my key fob. Changed the 6 discs in the disc changer. Replaced the air freshener.

Oh and then started looking in to why she's a bit juddery when idling. found a broken engine breather, but nothing else out of the ordinary...

I've fitted a detachable bike carrier today, pretty easy . Hard part was undoing the coach bolts, used WD40 to soak them for a while. The bracket fits behind the tow bar bracket and in front of the electrics bracket.
