replaced droplinks again and removed plastics to allow welding on outer sills

Due to rust? I am glad somone had joined the freelander rust club after everyone saying they dont rust!

And your wheelbolts looks nice. I bought new bolts all around from britparts 4 weeks ago. All black and shiny as new. Now 4 weeks later take look just as rusted as those i replaced :)

Came as quite a surprise though tbh ;)

Original wheel nuts too, unfortunately kwik fit bust my locking wheel nut tool :(

Changed the wiper blades all round, I noticed there is lot of play in the nearside wiper arm ball joint. I think that will wait until summer.
The rear wiper arm doesn't hold the blade to the window which is a little odd. Something for me to do on my day off Friday along with an oil change and the MOT.

Cool.....:)

Do they look skinny from the front view?

I put them side by side with my old wheels and they were exactly the same width due to the bulged out sidewalls.

the tread is, however, not as wide as the old ones. (205) but you can't tell tbh

so,to answer your question, no not really :)

Brilliant....

I need a new set of boots myself, so will go down that size route I think, have just been looking on Black circles.com, They have a great choice and good prices

Thanks for the info :)

they do make a bit of noise though and i don't intend on going much over 60 mph with them

good luck and post pics when you get them fitted ;)

I've changed the gearbox oil and the diff oil, plus found a leaking hose off the turbo.
Now booked in for a 1pm MOT test.

Fitted new work light. Not sure if it looks right though. I don't know whether a round one would be better to go with the round fog/ reverse lights and the oval brake light. But it was free!

Not sure whether to wire it up the easy way- get a feed from the reverse lights so better rear view at night reversing every time and just put ignition on in reverse if I am working behind it (what I do now) or wire in properly with a switch. I don't want to start drilling holes in my dash so would like to utilise my spare button, or get a different dash panels with more buttons but they won't all work
