I had code p0240 a week or so back, after a long high-speed journey.

I checked the turbo hoses for holes/splits and clips/clamps for tightness, and it turned out one hose (the 90degree bend one) was a cm too short and despite keeping on re-positioning it and re-tightening the 'T'-Bolt clamp on the beggar, it was determined to slide off. :(

Problem solved - phoned Gareth at DPH yesterday - replacement hose arrived this morning. Hows that for service - well done DPH! :clap2:

Now fitted - all is peachy-dandy again. :D

Singvogel.

Nothing, i sold mine a few weeks ago. Miss the fuel economy of it though. 37 beats 25 haha.

That said, the replacement disco3 hse is a very nice car. And is currently more reliable than the freeby.

Ralph MOT'D today, 2 advise, NSF track rod end joint, and hand brake just above minimum efficiency. will do both next week when I'm off.

Well it was last night actually. I fitted the front end plate, cam covers and oil pick up complete with a new O ring.
