I agree though, I like how it drives, it seems to fly!!
But I sold the Type R, because I have a bad back and because I wanted an AWD, so its definitely going back on. I think it's the end of the month when I'm getting it.

Got the garage to change the brake and clutch fluids, gear changes are now much easier and the bite is a good bit higher too, it was just off the floor with the old fluid and the brakes feel firmer too

Gave it an oil and filter change too.

I like the look of those chrome bulbs.

All parts except VCU now ready for the weekend:
- 2 new front struts
- 2 new front driveshafts
- OS TRE
- OS new strut top mount (bit of an experiment, might need a NS one as well)
- OS top engine mount

Picking up the VCU first thing Saturday morning from deepest darkest Norfolk, and having the ABS fault codes cleared to check I have solved the HDC warning light problem.

Hopefully this will then be it. Recon IRD and VCU, plus fully serviced including belts, plus new front suspension, plus other little issues sorted, should give me a well sorted Freelander by the time it gets dark on Saturday. Shame the weather will be colder for getting the work done!!

Need to re fit my prop (been saying this for 2 months) for winter, moan moan. Anyhoo, where did you get them bulbs please? - bet you already said further up - must read threads!!

I've done that and now what ever I try I can't get it to go back on and even any other mirror so I'm left mirror less for the rest of my life.......
