The old one was great and all, but was clearly going to explode fairly soon. I fully expect the new one to explode at some point, I'm just hoping that I've prolonged that.

I did alright. £1500 px on the old one and paid same in cash for the new. So worked out well.

Spent 10 minutes hunting for the CD auto changer, which on the 2003 was under the driver's seat. Realised it's now built in to the head unit. :lvlove-020: If only it had an aux in

I have the Land Rover "FL5" head unit in the facelift 2004 V6 Premium... and there's a 6 disc changer in the (double din) head unit. you have to press the "load" button multiple times to fill it up with discs.In my old one (2003) there was a changer under the driver's seat.

I never knew the Freelander had a double din 6cd changer, I might have to look out for one of those!
