My crankcase breather arrived today from BMW and got stright on with fitting

while taking the cover off i noticed a long (possibly) Vacuum pipe had be chaffing on the metal part under where the pipe goes into the filter

my egr blanking kit came so ill be needing the advice shortly.. (i know theres a thread but its a tad long now for the basic instructions..

ive also made my satnav voices louder with soundforge so i can hear them

Fitting the EGR is a piece of p!ss.

Cleaning out the inlet manifold however........

Today after work here in Wales with major gusty winds and hammering rain, I replaced my vcu on the drive. Finished work at 5:30 and got straight to it.
only just finished 10pm and it drives like new. no longer very tight on full lock and it doesn't scrub tyres.
Well worth smashing my hand in with a hammer and chisel.

Easy for me now the nephews garage has a peice of kit to clean the lot out

Altho its gknna costs me the garage he works at cater for a lot of taxis and they all raving about it

And i cant delete the angry face

Well done. The sense of achievement after a repair is always a good feeling. Certainly beats getting someone else to do it.

A set of 225/70/16 Insa Turbo Rangers. Been out tonight and had a play on the lanes and they seem great! Cleaned off the wheels in all the flooded roads! ;o)
