Be worth it though 👍
It will. I’ve got some closed cell foam that I’m going to try and fit to the underside of the bonnet before I put the frame back on. It’s quite soft and I think it will squash down flat.

Got the 90 back from its MoT, service and having wolf wheel studs installed. Two advisories on the MoT, namely a wheel bearing with play which was resolved when the wheel studs were fitted and a slight oil seep from the rocker gasket. The MoT tester was quite impressed with the 90! 😁😁😎😎

Next job, getting the wolf wheels fitted… 😁

Do they take the vehicle for a test drive or is it only visual inspection ?

we don't have any kind of testing here in saffa land

We do have a rwc trophy though

It’s a visual inspection including underneath. I believe it’s also a drive to test the brakes on a 4WD if they don’t have a the correct brake testing facilities.

The RWC doesn’t get you an MoT either… We had it but decided to share it around.

Changed the main gear in the wiper motor/gearbox, hopefully this will reduce the wide variation in the size of the wiper arc. I'm not really interested in wiping the windscreen seal!
I didn't see anything wrong with he old gear, but we live in hope...

Checked water. 1 litre anti freeze added.
While bonnet open, checked power steering fluid. Topped up with slick50 stop leak(just a splash added)

Removed wing tops to get to heater fan, turns freely by hand. Only have 5v on the control wires by the heater matrix so will need a dash strip & check fuses.no time to do that.
