Only in a Defender would you think about doing that, or Caterham maybe.was thinking about this earlier, i've got gerbing heated gloves for my bike, and a heated jacket, might wire in a connector for them by my seat so i can wear them in the defender. or wear my heated waistcoat plugged in to the USB socket.
To late I confessed, did pass through my mind though.Just put it back in the ole and walk away , did he see you do it? No

Got some! Sadly they don’t start a Landy on a cold day though.Heated gloves?
I got 1 of them small Clarke power starters will turn the landy over if it’s flat. Handy thing to keep around. It’s also 24v so starts the horse lorry up.Got some! Sadly they don’t start a Landy on a cold day though.
Wimp!but its way too cold today!!
i know i know!! i might do it sunday or next friday when i am off again. its warming up then.Wimp!
Even colder tomorrow and I have to change ge the front washer jet on my son's Ninety.
Ok it was me who broke it but that's besides the point.
That's a point, can I change the jet by just taking the stereo out or does the top of the dash have to come off?i know i know!! i might do it sunday or next friday when i am off again. its warming up then.
good luck with the washer jet, mine is loose but i think i'll have to take the radio out to get to the retaining nut, luckily i've got little hands so might be able to squeeze them in there.
If you had an early top with the ashtray it’s even quickerThat's a point, can I change the jet by just taking the stereo out or does the top of the dash have to come off?
Exactly want I didn't want to hear.If you had an early top with the ashtray it’s even quicker
Yes Remove dash top(200/300) to replace washer jet
Why??Exactly want I didn't want to hear.
Because I don't really want to dismantle the dash in freezing cold weather. Why??
You don’t need to dismantle the dash…. You undo the big cross’s heads and the grab handle & should lift up.. can’t remember if you need to undo the heater controls.Because I don't really want to dismantle the dash in freezing cold weather.
I did consider having the engine running and put the heater on, then I reminded myself the difference it would make would be barely noticeable.
I will have to man up and get on with it, gets me out of doing some house work anyway.
Well actually you do need to release the binnacle holding the clocks, no big deal all the same it's only 4 extra screws. You don’t need to dismantle the dash…. You undo the big cross’s heads and the grab handle & should lift up.. can’t remember if you need to undo the heater controls.
No need to remove clocks etc
(I can change a washer jet in 2 mins in my motor… well I don’t have that grey plastic vent cover any more )
That's annoying. I had a go at fitting my new screen as the old one had some big chips in it. I broke the new one putting it in, got a professional to do it in the end.
Will it polish out?
