I only clean inside where I sit. If the passenger gets in they evict the spiders.
Leave mud on the outside, no one wants to park next to you.

nice winch on your motor…
Aye isn't it funny how mud , dents , flaky paint general chieftain tank looks keeps peeps from parking near you, I also note that when on a hill, the car behind stays well back , yep it's a handy winch but not been put too immense test , I've used it on our bank during heavy snow to pull neighbours cars out the way without getting too close to them

Pulled off the teeny steering wheel fitted an original used one that I got a few months back , bigger turns better and I'm liking the period look, you can see the clocks better too so everyone's a winner, oh aye and she's had a wash and scrub up.

The 90 went to my local Indy guy to have the starter motor replaced this week. I should be getting it back tomorrow. I started the job a while ago but there were a couple of bolts that would come undone without shearing off under the turbo so I thought better of continuing and potentially causing more issues and left it to an expert.:)

And I found a disco rear axle but it’s a 300 and not the 200 I wanted.

Got the 90 back this morning. The mechanic reckons the starter is fine and that the alternator hasn’t been charging properly, which is supported by the charging light flickering on and off for a while. The battery looks to have been drained by longer nights using the lights and heater, leaving insufficient charge to turn the starter over. I’ve put a new alternator on it. Let’s see how it goes...

My 90 has done more miles in the last year than I’d done in the previous three since my Audi got written off. It’s still well within the yearly limit for the insurance though.

I’m bidding on a job lot of new brake parts and steering parts on eBay. It’s an expensive job being awake and bottle-feeding a baby at 3am!o_O:rolleyes:

Walked past it. Then booked it in for an MOT next week.
Now to find grease gun so I can lube up once it’s in the inspection ramps.( most garages don’t know what a grease gun is let alone use them)
Hoping they don’t want to see the spare tyre it’s in the back under rubbish

I popped in the garage to put some plastic bags away and ended up taking off the air filter mount and the bottom front 2x 13mm nuts and bolts that hold the wing on  I might tackle more later :D
I walked into a garage today & was asked to tune up a LR107.
Then spotted a V8 engine in the corner… now I know why they lured me into the garage.
Wondering what they want to fit it in…
