Asked the mrs if she would like to get on her back & be dirty…. So I handed her the spanners to hold the heads while I done the nuts from above.
Sliders on the disk handbrake had sized will need to replace the pads.
All lubed up and back together

Here feeling slightly guilty as haven't driven the old bus in five weeks 🫤

I have a good excuse as have been busy with a lovely new totty of just the right vintage who's keeping me busy in many other delightful ways + she insists on cooking for me/feeding me and serving me Guinness and Summer Ales...

Congratulations on your new romantic interest. Hope it's going well.

Tyre dressing on a Landy...who in their right mind tyre dresses Landy tyres...???
Who said anything about being in my right mind?
Must admit last time I did it I regretted it after one tyre, not so bad on a road tyre but doing the tread blocks on a AT tyre is a chore.

Got my latest purchase. A pair of climair wind deflectors for the 90. Cheaper direct from the manufacturer than anywhere else I could find.

My 90 came with some on, means you can have the window open a bit when raining. Little bit stiffer to do the window all the way up, which atleast stops it from winding itself back down!

You set the window winder so it always has downward pressure when closed
Or as most drivers do,drive with windows open

Well both cars done today.

After I had to explain to the tester (new guy) where the battery was :vb-groan2: and the reason the handbrake failed when he tried to do it on counter rotating rollers🤔, So showed him where the handbrake was and told him to put handbrake on and try to drive it, stalled twice, so that then got a pass.

Not many defenders around here. In fact 2, ours and the police 110:)

He didnt notice the split boot on the drop arm😰😅.

They have gone upmarket in the new place. They actually run the engine to do the emissions:rolleyes: Oh well good job the mudball runs LPG;).

So I have another year to get on top of the maintenance ;).

Some fresh suspension and seats. The old terrafirma had its use and wasn’t MOT friendly.

I looked at it and it is still rusting away to itself. The latest is, the chap who is going to weld in the bulkhead patch panels is coming over the second week of October. Hopefully it will all be done by the end of the year.
It will then be sold on as I have failed to procure an automatic box so I cannot physically drive it anymore :(
