Checked the rear end bolts, put the wheels back on, went for a quick test drive. Noted the absence of the clanging noise when the suspension rolls, so thanking the new upper link ball joint for that.

Good specs on that battery, have you used them before? Probat that is?
No not used them before but for the price £99.95, 4 yr warranty & I the fact I can drive to them if there's any problems I took the plunge.
I'll post if there's any problems.

hi

would u mind sharing the link or company where u got it from plse as looks great being a dual purpose battery

many thks

Ssooo miracles do happen I'll consider myself an IT expert now :D.
Yeah when I was looking Thursday I noticed other batteries where being sold at two different prices even though they were the same spec & from the same seller !

Lol, indeed spot on with the link

I think they sent u the wrong battery as if u look at the specs u got the more expensive one for half the price , count that as a fantastic result

Blimey, if your right keep it under your hat I don't want anybody knocking on my door tonight;). I just checked my ebay purchase history & the picture/price/description are all correct with what I received (mine hasn't got C100 on it like the (expensive) one in the link you attached at 219.99. It certainly spun it over nicely.
It would be interesting to see what arrives if anybody else on here orders one.
Thinking about it that might be what I saw, same battery but advertised for different uses.
I might order another, as I was thinking about a leisure battery/split charging system.

So today I set out to replace the rear radius arm bushes but upon removal of the arms I found some holes in the chassis!! So I've spent the morning welding the chassis up! And fitting polly bushes to the radius arms!

I fitted some 30mm spacers behind my et25 mods and now it looks perfect wheels sit great in the extended arches

Then I went out and it tried to kill me twice hitting standing water with one wheel dragged the car violently! I have a HD steering damper on too..

So my wheels are basically et-5 now. How do you guys get on with the -25 mods??

What make/type of bushes did you use ? Mine got an advise on the mot so I might as well get them done sooner rather than later.

I agree totally but I'm talking 2-3mm on the edge of duel carriage way at 40 and the inside of a corner of a walled road at 30. Not talking flat out for big splashes!
Bushes are all perfect and tracked a few weeks ago, must just be the extra leverage the wheel has on the the hub
