Is SRD500070 the only unit with upgraded functions?
I have read that the SRD000150 has the upgraded firmware but not like the SRD500070 firmware which is tweaked a bit more and is harder to find.
It's like this.... SRD500070 is the best > SRD000150 better > SRD000070 meh...

New exhaust manifold ( 3 broken studs :(:( ) and egr bypass fitted - it now goes much better off the mark and doesn't scream when you accelerate! :D:D:D

did you remove all the vac lines and solenoids.
mine was blanked when I got it but removing the lines and blanking the break booster nipple and solenoids seemed to improve things too. I'm still fairly new to the d2 tho

Waited for three days for a set of front fogs off t'bay to be delivered by Yodel from China. Three times they claim to have left a card. I was in working from home every time... so I had to travel 35 mile round trip to Stoke to collect them, only to find they had damaged them...

Yodel, useless f#ckwits

Bought some Archoil for the Fuel and Oil when i change it..

Fuel additive should do my 186k Injectors good.

Fitted a new rear tailgate handle. All working now.
Also got the front auxilliary socket working.....just a fuse.
Ooh and fitted l.e.d. bulb that i found rattling around my toolbox in the front interior light.

Have finally started the final procedure for getting the auxiliary diesel heater fitted to the discovery.

Much planning and back and forth between myself and the garage, and looking at other sources for information to support my plan, and the placement of the heater. It is going in the boot in one of the side pocket areas, trimmed back to mount against the metal shell of the vehicle.

I had planned on getting the telestart was 91, but it was an extra £400. Which is basically a remote control.

It will take under a week to fit, and then I will be much more comfortable in my long distance drives when I stop for breaks.

I am also pleased that I managed to save up the money for this project rather than relying on offered credit.
