And it passed. 1 advisory. Oil leak. Not sure which one they were referring too.
I had an advisory for a small oil leak a couple of years ago, probably from the rear crank shaft seal ..... nightmare, so I thought I'd try some Barsleaks oil seal treatment and so far that has seemed to work. At the last oilchange I put some Wynn's oil seal conditioner in instead, that seems to be working too, how long for, goodness knows.

Not my landy but just finished rebuilding the bulkhead for 1958 series 2 to go on my mates restoration.Lots of bloody work but worth it in the end! Test fitted and seems spot on,find out when we rebuild.Doh! Wrong place!

Replaced the near side swivel seal, cv joint and wheel bearings. So nice to have an impact gun for the job:)
Mot is due in a couple of weeks so needed sorting. Swapped a goosed uj a couple of days ago too:D

Sounds like a fun time.
You better tell @gstuart which one, as he is looking for one.

Cheers
It's an air compressor one, I've got a machine mart one but it's to heavy for me to use one handed

Changed the battery no warning just a cold nite last night killed it I think lucky I had a spare new huuuuuge battery sitting in the garage will check for a current drain just to be sure.

Weekend just gone Whipped the wheels off and gave the hubs and calipers a brush and bit of copper grease on the mating face with the alloys. Jetwashed as much of the salt off the chassis as I could and sprayed wd40 all over it. Glad I did hopefully it'll keep a lot of this round of road salt off. Proper job being done on whole chassis when winter stops doing overtime. Knocked **** out of chassis with a ball pein hammer, it's really solid so worth investing some time and money into protecting it

Mot'd mine.... Tester reckoned it's one of the best he's seen:p

Tis what happens when you look after them!

Both ours just passed, clean tickets, no advisories - tester went under SWMBO's chattering away, and went silent ..... came back out and said .... "Wow" - I said... "so you'll not be failing it on corrosion then?" .... "Er... no", he says - "like bl@@dy new under here" = :)

Insured, taxed, then took mine for a run around the block and put some fuel in it.
Only got it today at noon, but looking forward to the possibilities!

It’s an S Reg TD5, bit of rust around the arches and windscreen, but it all seems to be surface rust, so fingers crossed that’s the case.

I’m hoping to make it a crew vehicle for carting kit and people around in.
