That throw me......I will update my profile.

The D1 is has the new ticket!!!

The P38 is at the garage waiting for timing chains to be done then hopefully back on the road. The D2 now resides with my business partner although maintenance issues still seem to be my responsibility. The new addition to the fleet is a RRC that will hopefully be back on the road shortly!!

Heh, updated my profile a couple of weeks ago, when I realised, belatedly, that it was out of date too ;)

Nice :)

Finally got my disco 2 td5 through just before Christmas; had to get the ball joints on the steering knuckle done, and got, after that, just one advisory: "Oil leak" ;)

OK on the P38 and D1 :)

Did you have to replace the boot floor first?

Funny how business partners do that. Somehow I always seem to have a list of things to fix on my business partner's Megane... usually water leaking in or iffy electrics (sounds somehow familiar!). My wife's new volvo on the other hand - that just goes to the garage - far too much fancy computerised stuff to start playing with it.

I smartwatered mine, it deserved it after the inside had stayed dry for almost 6 months.

Tomorrow, if I feel energetic I might see about doing the oil pump bolt and change to a non cat front pipe.......But then again......:rolleyes:

Cheers

Got away without replacing the floor but repairing.....will probably factor in a replacement at some point but the can has been kicked down the street for now.

Just ordered a headlight loom, new bulbs and front mud flaps and steering damper. So will have something to do next week!!

managed to track down everything and ordered a second hand spare wheel valance

the parts box in doors is getting bigger by the day , just got to get everything on , lol

Following a discussion on here earlier decided to go play in the Garage.

Can you guess what I am making?

Oh, what a sheltered life you lead..........:p:p:p, has been going on for a while. It appears low life scum are either stealing to sell onto unsuspecting owners looking to upgrade their older D2, or fit to their own ( but a LR owner would never steal from another LR owner , shirley). I have also heard that growers of weed like them for the hydroponic systems. Apparently a video shows the lights being stolen in 11 seconds !!

Following a discussion on here this morning I had a thunk about it and dug some stuff out of the garage to go and play.

Cheers

Ooo, and they're colour-coordinated with green bars, you flashy wossit ;) I'm *almost* jealous. *Almost*. I have a pre-facelift D2 td5 ;)

i blame that @Magicgrotto , he keeps telling me to go and stand in the corner, lol

how on earth do they manage to get the lights out

see on mine i have two plates at the back of my headlights , so assume they done that to prevent them getting nicked

as there's no way u can get my headlights out unless u get the bonnet up and that's got two catches

so the bar , does that then screwed onto the back of the headlights

@gstuart If you look at @brian47 piccie you will see the bar in front if his headlights.

They just pull at them break the plastic fitting points and have away with them, the thievin so and so's.

Cheers

wouldn't have noticed them unless u pointed it out

as a side note the fogs in the bumper look smart

got to do mine , see when removing the bumper they are marked on the back

have the wiring connector just behind the headlight so it's just the case of getting a loom, or making one up
