Pulled the cover off and gave it a wipe down. .

I still maintain it was the best looking and performing Land Rover ever made, gotta get it back on the road.. :)
 
Roll bar off to replace the ACE bushes on the front - replaced the brake callipers guide pins while I was at it - beer time now!

Refitted the old DMF. Hope its not a decision thats going to bite me in the ass.... fitted the new LOF clutch and plate, plus bearing and associated bits. Finished up the prep for the gearbox, and pushed it under the car, ready to fit. Not looking that easy on a jack if Im honest... New cable for the Hi-Lo selector fitted.. Looking at the old gearbox, I think Ive found the source of the water ingress into gearboxes. The input shaft oil seal has a lot of slack on it, and moving it about, I can see the seal isnt sealing properly, and so, if you are wading, its the easiest way for water to enter the gearbox. Also explains why the water reaches this level.
