Today at work I had to bail out a ford ranger that simply wasn't upto the job of shifting 3 26ft twin axle carvans outta the mud... with half flat tyres and the following (for those of you that have been to shang-gri-la at the likes of glastonbury you'll recognise this)

and yes, next time I'm going logging bring the series and we'll load her up.

I tow a Rapido Confortmatic folding caravan. Hoping to move upto a real caravan next year. Just trying it out this year. If all goes well with trips this year then she'll be towing the real thing.

stuck in the middle of a junction with loss of drive.
apparently just over 7 ton in weight.
removed to a car park for collection by low loader.

My TD5 tows my little Rice Eventer. My Rice is around 30 yrs old but in fab order as I've spent a lot on it. My garage reckon its built to last and its As tough as old boots but towing with my Td5 is like towing a skin off a rice pudding! I've also towed a 505 with 2 16hh horses in, again so easy. I'd love to really put Silverlandy to the test. I've a proper heavy duty tow rope in the boot if anyone is stuck in my area ;)
