Ok...it is what passes for the summer season up here just now, and the usual plethora of landies with bikes, boats, canoes, tents etc on the roofracks...but I did a double take last weekend when I passed a Fender 110 with a ride-on mower on top!! Not sure how the hell he got it on...or how he intends getting it off..but there it was.....:)
Anyone carried anything similar????
:D

I have my 5 kids strapped down with elastic bungee cords coz that way I don't have to listen to them squabbling inside the beast :D

just noticed that the ad at the bottom of this thread is for L'Oreal for men.

I could be making some judgements here but is LZ a real hotbed of male grooming ?

nah only reason i had a shower today was that i was seeing the missus today. and when i been fixing the landy i have a shower with kitchen cleaner. non of this pussy l'oreal ****.

LOL...certainly not in my case....grooming is what is done to horses before and after they encounter my cross country fences :)

Carried a 6' x 4' x 2'ft fishpond. Not that heavy, but v. bulky and made 110 look like a dormobile. Never carried grooming products on it mind, might seem a bit strange that...

Usually got ladders and lengths of timber up there.
Must remember not to go under the 6'6" bridge though!

2 sheets of 18mm ply, 2 lengths of guttering downpipe.

Although i shouldn't really be posting here as i don't actually have a roof rack, but it's tied down and still there after a day.

Nothing at the moment, but come next month I'll have 2 jerry cans, a roof tent, and 2 mountain bikes up there :D

jerry can, shovel, hi lift, solar panel, ally box, tent & gas when camping, and just room for an extra spare wheel if far away from home
