Its more a change of scenery for the misses as she has been working from home all the way through and looks like will continue teaching from home, so apart from home and tescos not been anywhere:(

Yes, did me good to get away for a week. I am hoping to have another week off in October when hopefully the kids will be back at school and things will be quieter.

Check belt is tightish, start her up and see the tensioner isn’t jumping about. Sometimes bearings go on alternator pulley but not too common - if slip belt off and spin it by hand you’ll feel any roughness but if you do that may aswell check idler pulleys same way while you are there.
I've had this problem - if you do any off raoding/green laning then a bit of mud can get in and turns your bearings in to something that feels and sounds like a bog of bolts.

Parked up, normal height set, switched off the ignition and it spent the next 20 seconds or so adjusting itself down to what looked like access height :(

Mine did that on a couple of occasions, I found by letting it settle for a few seconds before switching off, it stayed up, never did find out what caused it, as apart from that EAS worked as it should.

If a corner drops it self regulates down. Never heard of one do it that quick though

Bigger the leak easier to find?

No leaks i can detect. The day previous it had sat at Wade height for several days without issue.
I've learned that trick too, but sometimes it just likes to adjust down as soon as the engine stops, even if it's happy a second previously with the engine running

Could be a height sensor throwing a wobbly or going outside expected range.

Or possibly driver pack connection acting up or I have heard rumours the delay relay can cause odd behaviour when it acts up with dry solder joints.

What are the target heights?
In the order FL FR RL RR...
Standard 107 107 110 107
Low 92 93 97 91
Access 64 65 71 70

When i checked, having been left overnight,
Actual 82 80 83 87
After selecting standard height with nano
110 106 112 109
My drive isn't 100% level though.

Worth noting nano says to select a height with the engine running and that it will go back to the previous height once complete. Engine didn't need to be running, but ignition does need to be on. It doesn't revert to the previous height once complete

We’ve been through this before... readings need to be taken on the flat even surface

could always calibrate them just to be sure but ON A LEVEL SURFACE, id even go as far as check tire pressures first. You have the ability to move off the drive now so no excuses ;)
They need to be within so many bits across the axle or it won’t accept

We have been thru it before, but i was asked so i provided :) the car should be able to sit on a marginally in flat drive without sinking immediately the engine is switched off. It's got to be a sensor that's dodgy at standard height but I've yet to see numbers going mad

Seen on another forum :

This used to be an immaculately rebuilt Rolls Royce, put it on a trailer, towed by a Rangie, on the way home this happened ...
