I used my red RRC to do the Christmas tree run for my parents and sister just after I bought it.
My niece insisted on coming with me in the rangie.
She sang "rudolf the red nose rangie" all the way home - and the name stuck!
When I rebuilt it, it became "Project Phoenix" for all the "foreigner" jobs that were done for it!

The 90 doesn't have a name yet, but the reg is FYG, so it'll probably get called "Figgy"
Right now, it's called "50 shades of bankruptcy" as I'm buying the bits for it...

KIds named it Yoda (xxxxYDA) before I'd even bought it - needless to say haggling on the price was uphill from that point

Many people give their cars a pet name.

Our 90 was called Mojo after the reg number MJ06

My 110 l have named "Titanic"

As it is
a/a similar weight and size
b/has a similar turning circle
c/lets in about the same amount of water

What's yours called?
My baby when she goes and " not a f!?#ing gain" when she wont start! Thankfully that is not often now she has a nice 200TDI and the NA is long gone.

We had a discussion in our household shortly after the Land Rover arrived. My girlfriend is keen on witchcraft, goddesses and the like so she fancied Hecate. We were driving back from Whitby at the time so amidst all the noise I kept hearing this as Rickety, so that has tended to stick. Most of the time it is just the 'Land Rover' or 'the car'.
