Not completely pointless I suppose having used it once in 6 years.Might just be a setting in the BCM. Not sure I agree that it's a pointless feature.
Indicators overriding the hazards seems a good idea to me. Imagine being on tow, hazards on to warn traffic behind but still being able to indicate the intention to turn. Not completely pointless I suppose having used it once in 6 years.

I set up an account with TFL for all of my vehicles in January, went to a funeral in the ULEZ a couple of weeks ago and got the £90 fine on Saturday for non payment. Turns out, the account I set up on their intentionally impossible to navigate website was for the new tunnel that they want to charge everybody for and although it leads you to think it cover ULEZ, it doesn't. FFS! It's my mistake and that's that, but it doesn't make it any easier to swallow. I don't want to spark the debate here again.
So, if you add the £90 that it's cost me to your Transit running cost over that journey, it makes it even smarter to listen to a v8 soundtrack. Perhaps I should get a Supercharged for the couple of times a year that I go into the misery zone.
As to what I have done with it, I replaced the CV joint on the NSF and the air spring also on the same corner on Saturday. That was a pleasantly easy job to do. Spent Sunday trying to get the slurry off it from last weekend's fun. I now need to clean my street before the Environments lot turn up and start asking questions.![]()
I checked again later.
The hazards always hazard. Engine on, in park/neutral and drive, left or right indicator makes no difference.
Apart from the fact mines a 2012
What finish are you after kiddo?Cleaned the trim, after the nice guys at the car wash had cleaned her. Which led me to thinking: has anyone managed to paint their wing mirrors? I was thinking plasticote, but not sure it's the right stuff as casing is metal. so maybe smooth hammerite? Any thoughts/successes?
Or maybe a lacquer?
Just a nice black finish , similar to the current but whole mirror will need done as it's all fading nowWhat finish are you after kiddo?
Colour matched or just nicely finished![]()
That would involve taking the glass out to get a smooth finish. Otherwise there will be an edge just inside the lip. also I'm a bit impatient, and OCD. Trying to get all the bubble out would just drive me nutsin this modern era, do you need to paint them? what about film wrap?
doesnt the plastic unclip? That would involve taking the glass out to get a smooth finish. Otherwise there will be an edge just inside the lip. also I'm a bit impatient, and OCD. Trying to get all the bubble out would just drive me nuts![]()

As per everything on the L322, it's not that simple. Made less simple by only having one arm that functions almost properly.doesnt the plastic unclip?
the glass unclips easy enough too
Replaced both sides on mine quite easily. But i know what you meanAs per everything on the L322, it's not that simple. Made less simple by only having one arm that functions almost properly.
If it can break it will break when I handle things and at £180 or so for the glass I really don't want to risk it. I overcompensate with force because the 'good' arm isn't so great and I can't judge what pressure I'm using.Replaced both sides on mine quite easily. But i know what you mean
How much!? I got mine off eBay for £15 each!!If it can break it will break when I handle things and at £180 or so for the glass I really don't want to risk it. I overcompensate with force because the 'good' arm isn't so great and I can't judge what pressure I'm using.
A new electrochromic is £180 upwards. The usual culprits have them at over £300. I need to change one of mine as the glass has gone brownish. Doesn't affect ability to see but I think it's the autodim that's failed/failing. I got new old stock for the other one several years ago at £80ish off ebay but no joy for this one, yet.How much!? Ok not tinted, the heating element doesn't cover the whole area but they still work
