Well I'm back on crutches this morning. Only got up from computor last night to go for a drink(non alchoholic) and bam over on me bad knee. The gaffer had to help me to bed and fill me full of codeine. Ah well couple of days rest , ice packs and painkillers and should be back to a state of normality, which for me is being able to breath:D:D

That's what you get for being sober.;):D hope you recover swiftly mate.

Decided my increased fuel use requires investigation. Noticed that I appear to have a small fuel leak from the back of the FIP. Hopefully it is just a loose fastener, rather than a failed seal. Otherwise this could be the end of the road for my P38.

Seal kit is about £10 and you can do it institute there is a guide on here somewhere by @biketeacherdave

IIRC, you need diag to set the pump and I haven't got access to diag. Which is a massive oversight really, as I've owned a P38 for 10 years. Always felt it should be something I should own.
I changed the leaking O rings on mine with no diagnostics, usually it's the top seal that goes and diesel runs down.
If you have to take the back off with the injector pipes, it only need the pump in the correct position, I think Wammers did a guide.
Got that wrong, I see it was biketeacherdave that did the guide.
