Got the wife's battery out of the shed and put it on charge. Went on around lunch, just popped my head in and it is alright stable (could be a false positive, will leave it for a bit longer see if it throws a voltage drop error). I am actually surprised given it has been stored for about a year... maybe in a years time I'll get it installed. :D

Finally got around to repairing the broken wires on my LPG solenoid! Will have to plumb it back in tomorrow and see if it operates!! If not I'll have to put a new one on.
Can i test it myself with a wire to the battery and see if it clicks? I'm assuming they are 12v

I don't know for sure, but if the relay is operated from the ECU it may not be 12 volts so be careful. If you have a PP9 battery, try using that first.

Well finished work and made a start on it about 3pm, had it done and was driving home for supper about 6pm, nothings rattling or clonking so im happy amazingly it tore the cv boot when the old frame let go but the height sensor survived

A few more oil leaks would have protected it.:rolleyes:

Yeah, I kind of figured you'd be upgrading before long!
I'd like too, but i also don't want too part with mine, but then its getting on and the td6 is a pretty noisy annoying lump when its working, but then its also not worth selling, and if it kept on as it has been id happily just throw another gearbox in it again, cost of repairs vs the heavy work and miles its done its actually been really good to me

You do a lot of miles so it won't last that long. How are the brake lines, especially where hidden by plastic?

Had copper lines before i got it, well some lazy bugger did copper front too backs aswell and left the old lines there too, some even lazier bugger has just left and left them there, the only given with it lasting is that its not city life, iv been running my 320d for a bit thats just a few mile off 200k now,
