I think that was the first part I DIYd on my P38. I know a lot of people dislike them, but I enjoy my bus on Terrafirma. Been on 7 or 8 years now and they are a treat.

I agree! ;)

People were telling me i wuz stoopid to put it on Terrafirma, but it'd say its ride is better than ever, and the handling is sublime ;)

There I go with my environmentally friendly V8! We totally don't get glared at as we drive past the earth people with their signs :D
I use the LPG when going for a nice clean sheet for the MOT, the old giffer that did the test would do it 3 or 4 times, as he couldn't believe the readings, hydrocarbons and Co near 0
:cool::D

The nearest LPG station shut down a few weeks ago and they put 6 petrol pumps in its place, odd that we have 6 brand new pumps and 6 that look like they belong in the 1960s..:D

An LPG station in Bromyard charges 47ppl, filling the tank in the back costs £35 and i get 230mi from that ;)

Is that the gas filled one? Feel any different?

With regards to Terrafirma shocks, the v8 lump might be different as I am guessing ot is heavier than the diesel. I found them too harsh on the oil burner.

It is heavier than the M51 by about 32kg which is in essence a coal bags worth of difference, which ain't bad considering the V8 has more stuff inside, All Aluminium eh ;)

The shocks are very good, i'm well chuffed! ;)

The gas/Oil variety ;)

Shell was the only one near us and they took the pump away said there was not enough call for it when it ran out. Now 25 mile trip to get gas. Fortunately, petrol at 99p ltr eases the pain....for now.!!
A grands worth of LPG equipment fitted,(luckily not by me, the PO)and it's probably gonna be obsolete soon.

Set on my P38 too, black HD ones though not the blue. Mark have had few sets, pin snapped on the bottom rear of the old one on mine but did fair service and they cheap enough to replace and get hold of.

Yip, all on terra's. Even the damper. A little crashy sometimes but well held on these twisty roads and nearly upto a bit of a beating off road!! :D

I have them on my derv, and they give me a confident front end. Take up some of the compliance by running 16" wheels too. I found the front end to be a little vague with whatever was on it, not OEM, but the branding was too corroded to read.

The steering dampener took a lot of the buffeting I'd get when hooning it down a country lane. Although that does come with the tradeoff of ever so slightly heavier steering, but it is virtually unnoticeable... unless you lose drive to the PAS. Then you notice. It isn't HGV without PAS heavy, but it makes you sweat.

It seems to dampen the shocks through the wheel a lot better than the stock one, even a NOS one sent slight shocks through the wheel! ;)
Nothing can be felt through the wheel with the Terrafirma one..

Wire brushed around all the nuts on Buttercups rear A frame and gave them all a good squirt of plus gas. With any luck a kit of bits will be delivered next week and I can change the bushes/bolts/ball joint. Thats presuming I can get it all apart in the first place.

Does basically the entire centre console from the Autobiography fit a P38 DSE. I'm talking switch cover, handbrake and gear lever. Just saw a pic of one and it's gorgeous in walnut.

I drove it, further than I've been in months! Must have been approaching 30 miles in total.

Need a lie down now, worn me out
