Drove to work. Drove home via the local tyre fitters to book in on saturday for a new set of boots, broke the windscreen wipers one mile from home.
Got out of the car at home looked back at the car, laughed at it, went indoors, had a brew

What have you gone for?

New MAP sensor, hose connected. We'll see what difference it makes later. I have a new lift pump to put in, but that's gonna be next weekend's job.

Here's the broken water pump shaft...

Top hose t piece is broken and the water rail is corroded so have to order those parts before its running again...

Round Rubber ones? ;);)

Nexen Roadians. Not exceptionally cheap, but not massively expensive and fitted with what i could afford given that all four tyres were knackered and needed replacing. Theyseem ok, with quite good reviews. Ride on the drive home seemed much better after having had the four wheel tracking done with no shuddering that i had before on the old tyres. I very rarely go off road at the moment so road conditions will be how they are judged in my case and it'll be intersting to see how they last; most reviews seem favourable so we'll see if they live up to them.

Had the Nexen Roadian HP M&S on mine for 5 years now. very happy with them, wearing well, good wet grip and quiet too.:D

They want £120 insurance for my SII its almost as much as my P38!! And I do very little mileage in it

Its full, but I hardly use it, I told him that, and he will sort something out and ring me back, told him its on the drive for the last year, only use it when the P38 breaks down :):)
