Today I put some clear sealant in a gap I found i the rear quarter window. It's a temporary fix, as I think it is more the part is out of position but with nowhere to work in the dry, sealing it , seemed a good idea for now.

I don't know if it's the case here, but many cars have gaps now the windows are bonded to aid airflow. It helps keep the window clear and reduces drag.
It may well be unintended on yours, was just suggesting that often the gap is supposed to be there.

Sorry, thought you were being humorous. No , definitely not meant to be there. The trim is coming away from the glass for a length of approx 4 inches, upwards. When looking at it, as shown in the pic, it looks as if the trim has moved out of position by a few mm.
I'll have a better look tomorrow , see if I can sort it, without breaking anything.

Went to put the p38 on charge as it's not been run for a couple of weeks.
Fob didn't work oops! Connected the charger... 2.6v!!!! Not good!! Took the battery off, charged it up, took the charger off and it's held 12.8v overnight! Hopefully that means it's still ok but no idea how it got so low

And so the detective work starts ..

Sticking key barrel switch
Glovebox light

Just spent nearly 4 months chasing mine. Turned out a new battery was the only way solve it. Very slow dying over a time period, but Good Luck..

Handbrake seems to be pretty much ineffective. I changed the transfer box out in the summer. Maybe I stuffed up the oil seal to the gearbox when I replaced it?! Don't fancy lying under it tonight so it'll have to limp on for a few more days.

Replaced the headlamp wiper blades today. Found that someone previous had snapped off one of the washer pipe spigots and glued the bolt cover on..(in pieces..)
Joy.!

Swapped out the broken drivers window mechanism for a good one. All good no more beeps
Nearly died when I saw the price of Loctite 648 50ml tube!

I had a better look at that gap. Then compared to other side. The trim is definitiely out of position. So going to have to nicely ask it to move back, when I have time, energy, inclination and a dry day :/
